Help Children Fleeing the War in Ukraine

In light of the devastating effects of Russia's attacks on Ukraine, the board of directors of Przystanek Rodzina has extended our mandate to stretch the use of our limited resources towards the welcoming and care of refugee children and their families. We are a volunteer-run organization that works directly with the communities we serve.

Our areas of work:

Mental Health
we help children escaping the war cope with their pain and confusion by providing access to trauma and PTSD therapy

Care
we offer children a sense of normalcy by coordinating their stay in home-like environments thanks to the generosity of licensed volunteer foster parents

Short-term
we provide a respite for family units to get back on their feet by providing housing, personal supplies, and organizational resources

Long-term
by refurbishing unused spaces across the country, we are creating opportunities for long-term housing for children and their families

Volunteer

We are looking for Ukrainian-speaking mental health professionals, especially those with experience working with trauma, as well people who can serve as Ukrainian<>Polish interpreters. Send us an email if you can help!
